Went back to WOW. I retired from my full time job i don't need another job.

I played WOW for 10 years and quit due to the game requiring you to play with others to do any content of worth. Playing with toxic people and being required to be at my computer during raids without being able to stop and take a break when i wanted to was to much. I decided to go with POE1 and now POE2 since they are single player games. POE1 is way to complex. POE2 looks like it could be a great game but it is a grind that feels like a job more than a video game. I log on every day for 3 to 4 hours doing corrupted Tier 15 maps and never see any upgrades. The crafting system is horrible. Forget about using actual item drops as they are worthless 95% of the time. The game is dark and unforgiving. It is hard to see anything in many of the maps.

Blizzard is now reaching out to a new audience by creating solo content like follower dungeons and now delve which allows me to play at my own pace. I can only imagine they will continue to improve this experience. I would rather GGG charge a monthly fee, hire more people and make a better game.

I read posts about player counts and how they are always higher at the beginning of a season before dropping down to 20 to 30k. Can someone explain to me how WOW maintains close to a million players online regardless of the expansion or season.

Good luck GGG, WOW has me again after quitting for 4 years. I won't be coming back.

but man, not returning for blizz not ever again.
It's the toxic ex... after wow expansion you can slowly see how bad it taste going worst and worst - in every aspect possible

Go play League of Legends, Dota... Valorant, pokemon go, anything but Blizz.

The game is in EA which means it can't sustain hundreds of hours of play, unless you enjoy sameness. I'd say PoE2 was a 50-75 hour game before 0.2.1. and now it's a 200 hour game. Meaning that if you play for more than 200 hours, you either enjoy repetition or you'll get bored.
Interesting perspective.

I have never seen ARPG's as social games and always expect the numbers to drop dramatically its just logical.

MMO encourage social play so it will usually maintain players at a higher rate as long as the content is ok.

I would play POE 2 if it had only 500 players, i play for myself not for others.

If the devs are getting paid i dont care about player count statictics, why people point this out is odd.

The big grind (as players put it) is usually when a lot of players start new characters or change games, this is natural also.

GGG may need to address the final 5-10 levels, add some visual aid in game to show character is max level at 90 "gratz" but to get a title e.g. "plays to much" for completing last 10 levels or something.

Something to seperate. I know i know "bro that sucks who cares about level" you might think they dont in your echo chamber but they really do care.


Sorry to see you go, you seem like a player we would like to retain.
