Trading is dead - give us async trading

Unless you have some extremely good stuff trading is dead. Buying an item is extremely overpriced. A huge of these issues is that a player has to be online for a trade to be available.

Im very straight here. AH is a necessity for the game to work at release. And i know many people say it will help Bots, but Bots are already ruling the Trading. An AH wont change a thing there.

It will remove price fixers tho.

Agreed, on standard league I can't sell anything at all and I lower the price compared to similar items. This is quite new, hasn't been like that a month ago.

There are more items on the market so it's not like everybody quit playing.

economic crisis in POE2 as well?

Trading is dumb. Give us real SSF tool so we can actually play a game and not grind currency to play "1995's Trading Simulator - Chinese Farmer Edition".

The reason for that is that nobody needs those items, but those items get overpriced because the trading isnt really showing offline people. If there are only 4 people online who have a similar item for sale, then the prices will be higher.

But new players cant afford those items and there are not really many new players coming and those that come cant afford the high prices due to inflation. The issue is economy. There is not sink for Currency in the game. There are is way more currency than gets used.

Yes and Auction House would remedy some of the issues to some degree. Not all problems with economy, because the inflation is there and it will only get worse without good currency sinks. POE1 has the same issue i think.

One simple way is that you can gamble with Exalts and with Gold. Or that you can sell Currency for enough gold to be worth and then gamble that gold. I dont know how many people would do that tho. Worth a try.

You've also got players who finish a league really early, then don't come back.
All their items are still listed at their original prices; which are far too low. Using "offline players" as a filter is skewed by that.

Auction House I believe is best. Even if you have to travel to a bespoke "map location" in order to interact with it if the server load would otherwise be too steep.


Also. Segue moan. WTF is Global and Trade chat for, really, and why does it exist in the game? Even as a complete newbie, I turned that off within minutes of starting 0.1.0 It's just full of spam.

Its just people and bots spamming Stellar Amulet. Raise your hand if you ever sold sth in Trade chat that wasnt bulk.
