Queen of Filth and Viper

My brother and I are level 46, he is a monk and I’m a ranger.

Queen of Filth we failed multiple times to beat her. When his wife joined the party (she is a level 45 witch) the boss fight became way to easy IMHO.

Her tanky-ness seems unparalleled. As him and I died multiple times on our way to the Viper boss, she never was threatened by anything.

Viper boss was the same feel, she was burned down on a first try because of her.

I am not bothered by dieing, but I do think some classes turn the boss fights and map clearing into a more shallow experience. I was getting vibes of D4 while playing last night because everything was just melting with no effort.

Anyway just my opinion but I think Witch needs to be toned down a bit.

I don't know if its a class issue. Its possibly either a difference in gear between the three of you (one really lucky drop can turn the game into a struggle to a roflstomp), or of system mastery with the game. She just might have stumbled into a build that works really well, while you might not yet have found something that clicks.

Yea I agree that she could have a very good piece of equipment and she might be running a really good build.

But the part that makes me scratch my head is that if 1 person can make the game feel like a roflstomp, what would the game become if 2 more of us “stumbled” upon a sweet build or got a epic piece of loot.

As a hardcore player this boss is disappointing- she periodically glitches and the spear henchman nuke me three times straight where even rolling or using a poison resistant charm doesn’t work. It’s such a great game but with a glitchy one shot boss I won’t be playing anymore. Nerf the viper queen.

i dont usually find queen of filth to be too bad. viper can be a pain though. sometimes you need to respec to whatever is optimal for your class at level 45 or whatever level is normal to fight her at. or get good at rolling the spear thing i guess. she's a bit of a dps check.

Queen of filth is relatively easy to learn and dodge if you can't tank the hits.

Viper on the other hand, is and has always been a major pain because the arena is tiny, most of the attacks are chaos damage AOE spam and she has this phase where most builds can't damage her. One the most badly designed bosses in the game...
