Can't access more than 2 ascendancy points.

As the title says, I did the trials of chaos, and got only 2 ascendancy points, then I did the trial of sekhemas from balbala's coin, and couldn't interact with the altar. Now I just finished the first boss of a 2 trial barya, and am stuck in the room with balbala with nothing to do.

Need higher area level.
