Tame beast - Parry Visibility Issues
|
I've been playing a build that utilizes two beasts from tame beast to provide me with ignite and shock. I'm using the Frozen Mandibles and the Plague Harvester. This aspect is super fun.
Sadly to continue using a buckler feels pointless. I very much like playing the parry mechanic but with two beasts with gigantic support gems.. I can't see what the boss is doing. There are attacks that I need to block in order to survive. Azmari is a good example. He has a dash (Mirage Charge I think)that can easily 1 shot me and I'm struggling to see it coming because both my beasts hound and cover up the boss. I can't read any of the tells. Smaller sized bosses are the most susceptible to this but it can be an issue on medium sized ones as well. The vast majority of the attacks that I can parry do not have an accompanying audio cue either so you must rely on visible cues and timings. With the enemy obscured.. I'm at a loss on how to continue with parry. This translates to rares and normal enemies as well to a lesser degree. Some suggestions.. Maybe a way to shrink the tamed beast models? Higher minimum distance to the model they are attacking? Transparency perhaps? ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 20 พ.ย. 2025 19:28:00

Now imagine that you have 20 specters, one or two of each persistent minion, and 5000 unearthed scorpions on your screen at the same time.
And it is not like GGG cannot steal some visual clarity mechanic from around. On top of my mind, GOD OF WAR has some stupid simple clarity. Red circle over his head. Followed by very distinct sound... Works. |

Yeah I can see that being an issue. I have generally avoided minions for that reason but at least you're not trying to perform parries in that scenario.
I was hoping only having 1 or 2 minions wouldn't be too bad but they are quite large and they overlap too many important tells from enemies even still. |

Yes, I do not try to parry.
I am covering my balls, hiding in some corner, hoping that in all this visual chaos, some random one shot does not send me to hideout prematurely. If you think that praying to all gods not ot get hit is better than parrying, you should try it to see that it doesn't work better. |
