Request: Seamless Keyboard/Controller Switching for PoE2

Hello GGG team and community,

I’d like to request a quality-of-life improvement that would make a big difference for many players: the ability to switch between keyboard/mouse and controller without having to log out every time. Specifically, it would be fantastic if we could play the game on a controller for exploration/combat, while using keyboard and mouse for item management in the hideout, crafting benches, and inventory management.

Other games already support this kind of seamless switching, and it would be wonderful to see Path of Exile 2 offer the same level of flexibility.

Get a V1 steam controller and use WASD movement. Mapping in Steam Community by Wyppo is best. Steam Controller V1 was the best controller ever made. This allows for use of both and it’s arguably better than regular controller use.

It would be amazing if they improve for controllers (+ on the fly switch to keyboard/mouse)


And also it will be nice when it is ingame possible to use paddles (like to set arrow keys as paddles keys)

They said in a few interviews ago that it should have already been implemented and that they'd look into it. But then several patches later, it's still not implemented. Bumping because this should be in the game.

I hate having to go to the login screen just to toggle between the two.
