We are about to enter the fifth week of the Beta and are thus publishing our Weekly Beta Report that discusses what to expect in our next Beta update.

This week we deployed Wave 2 of Beta (including Act 8) and wiped all existing characters and items. We should be able to avoid any further wipes, however, be aware that as we change items and skills, this may result in some items on the beta being deleted.

We have now fixed issues with loading hideout decorations such as crafting benches. This doesn't cause occasional realm crashes any more. Very sorry about taking a while to solve this. It was a subtle problem with the compiler we use.

We plan to deploy Wave 3 of the beta next week. This will include significant performance improvements as well as further updates to Act 8 and other content. There will likely be more performance improvements after this update but before the beta is released (for example, related to ground effects).

We are also hoping to release the 2.6.3 patch to the live servers in the next week, which includes the new Microtransaction system. We want to get this deployed as soon as we can so that everyone can start using their microtransactions in the Beta and be able to test the content in style.

We aim to release a Wave 4 patch roughly a week after Wave 3. This wave will focus on balance and polish, as well as ensuring systems such as prophecies and divination cards are in line with the new act and difficulty structure.

Thanks to everyone for your extensive feedback on the beta. We will be making some specific feedback threads so we can have a dedicated location for feedback on a few especially important features. Today, for example, we have posted a thread asking for specific feedback on on the tutorial we enabled in the Beta.
