Ultimatum deadly lag

I play on PS4 and have one big problem with ultimatums:
In about every second to third ultimatum done the game can't keep up with the big waves... so at some point a bunch of mobs just appear on top of me and before I have time to react I am toast.
Not cool to lose EXP and loot like that. Anyone else facing similar problems?

Yup, from time to time. Nothing u can do about it except upgrading to PS5. Sometimes its the console (X1X "performance mode") or the server or both,
I got used to the occasional gank after a (micro)stutter. Prolly will be "fixed" when my series X gets deliverd tommorow, next week or sometime in november...2022.
