Self-chill CI poison spark trickster

Looking for feedback on my build, it's working superwell so far but kind of wanted an outside perspective of how to min/max or change things i might be doing wrong.

Don't have any videos since i don't know how to do that stuff unfortunately but it's something i'm gonna work on.

Any feedback is welcome!



Quick explanation of build mechanics:


I'm using ashes of the stars + phantasmal spark for 100% lightning to chaos damage conversion.

Divergent herald of agony for 100% chance to poison

Then i'm using the golden rule to reflect poisons to me

CI to become unaffected by poison

icefang orbit ring to chill myself when poisoned

and then winterweave ring to reverse the effect of chill on self.


the clearspeed is fast, single target damage is ok and it's decently tanky. only died from stupid pruple explosions so far, which i always thought was chaos damage but whatever... :)

I haven't done a poison build but I think increased duration only affects skills with a duration tag such as Viper Strike. Which means your Exceptional Performance in the skill tree isn't doing anything. Check to see if your Added Chaos Damage support is helping your poison. I remember doing Essence Drain and found out that added chaos damage does nothing for damage over time.

I'm playing the new Trickster too and realized that Soul Drinker is close to useless. If you have Ghost Dance then when you take damage while on full energy shield, the energy shield will recover, then what good will the leech do while on full energy shield? I find just taking one skill point on the tree, Ghose Reaver, actually works better than the Soul Drinker ascendancy which gives you very little total recovery. For you, probably Etheral Feast would work better instead of Soul Drinker.

Why Trickster? Wouldn't Assassin be better with poison?
