Channeling Verisium ore while having skill on X interrupts it - 26935214 - PS5

Having a skill on X interrupts the channel when a mob comes in range.
Example - flicker strike on X and channel unrefined ore on maps. The char jumps at the mob instead continuing with the channel.

I am also having this issue, except using Blood Rage on X.

Before I could press X one time I would channel the verisium until I moved away.

Since the most recent patch I have to hold X, however the skill I have bound to X gets used as soon as it becomes available again. If I let go of X the ore channeling stops and the fight starts.
