Maps won't open

Console user. I can load things into the map device, but maps won't actually open.

When I try to open a map, it closes the map device menu, but no portals appear, and the map and scarabs are not consumed.

Restarting and logging out don't help.

Problem started earlier today.

Have you made sure you don't have an impossible combination of items in the device?

I'm having trouble remembering a useful example, but, as a non-useful example, if you put in a Sacrifice Fragment and some scarabs (but no map), it won't open, even though a Sac Frag by itself would open a Vaal Side Area. Another example would be if there's a filled divine vessel in there.

I would try removing everything from the map device, putting in just a single map by itself (something you don't mind wasting or running w/o scarabs), and see if that works.
