After merging my PC and Sony accounts I see I can switch between the two when playing on my PS4. I assume that even tho I can switch to my PC account on my PS4, I will still be trading for items on the Sony trade site correct?
Or does switching to my PC account and making a new character put me into the PC trade economy for that league?

Any PoE 2 trade will be on a single all-platform trade market as far as we know so far.
Poe 1 will continue with separate trade markets, for now at least.

None, it’s just there for each platform. Tiny bit of code and it could scrape your platform and default that.
