"Apex of Filth" monster does physical damage, not chaos?

Not sure if it's a bug, but it feels like it's a bug.
Jonathan said that POE2 should have monsters that do damage that is telegraphed to the player. Eg, in POE1, you couldn't tell that Breach monsters were doing 50% cold and 50% phys to you, the art did not make it clear at all.

The floating "Filthy Crone" monsters have a "vomit" attack they do in close range. It LOOKS to me like it should be a Chaos damage attack, so I increased my chaos resistance to 85%, but it still destroys me, so I can only conclude that it does physical damage, not chaos.

This is incredibly confusing. Actually, I can't tell whether any of these "filth" monsters do physical or chaos damage. The visual indication isn't the greatest. It would be nice if we had a sfx/vfx for taking physical damage instead of chaos damage, because it's not easy to tell.

Looks like it's phys though I thought it's chaos. Anyways these crones are so overturned.

If its not chaos then this attack is extremely broken. I'm the warrior class, over 50% phys damage resist and over 1k health and yet the Filthy Crone vomit attack does 95% of my health. I walk through most things but this vomit attack has killed me so many times... its to fast to see the telegraph and she can machine gun spam use it back to back to what seems like no limits.

GGG please implement something similar to what LE does on death where it tells you what dmg type you died to. Better yet, give us a breakdown of the damage taken over the last 5 seconds (indicating what monster and damage type).

1.5k health with good res, got one shot with the puke attack.

I noticed that the Filthy Crone is still doing massive damage.
I was searching to find out why, and found this thread here.

In my case, I've been one shooted twiced by her green circle at act 3 cruel, having more than 50% armour and 1k life, along with 53 fire, 40 cold, 65 lightining and 10 chaos resist. I love dodging stuff, but that green circle seems to fire off faster than I can react.
