After updating to 0.1.1, settings are reset when closing the game

After updating to version 0.1.1, I occasionally receive a message saying "Something wrong" when transitioning to a location. Additionally, authentication no longer works, and I have to close the game. When I reopen it, the settings are reset to defaults.
