Crackling Barrier + Raise Shield does nothing

Crackling Barrier support gem can be socketted in Raise Shield but no Thorns are gained while shield is raised.

Nothing shown in character sheet nor any effect on enemies indicate the support working.

Thorns also sometimes seem to just break on blocking.

Raise Shield wasn't able to be supported by gems at all before 0.2. The change is that it now includes Shield Bash attack. So the channeling component of the skill shouldn't be supportable still, it's only melee AoE componet should.

I think it has been incorrectly tagged (for supportability purposes) as channeling.

I think it makes sense for it to be supportable with channeling since you are holding the raise shield effect which is like channeling. plust crackling barrier works for resonating shield which is also a raise shield kinda thing.

this was not broken earlier today. it has since stopped working, im not sure what changed. the retaliation passive has also stopped working for raise shield

If this was the case, Burgeon Support wouldn't be working for it (it works fine).

I suspect the real problem is there's a hidden "Spell" tag on Crackling Barrier Support.

Ok so the issue is crackling barrier is proc'ing ONLY if you do not have scavenged plating enabled.

This is 100% a bug, it makes no sense.
