Auto lock on snap targeting
Since 2.0 there has been an issue where the character loses all self control when surrounded by monsters. This becomes more and more of an issue when being surrounded coulda been prevented had the game let me fire off my skill where I was intending to fire it.
When it comes to ranged skills, and I'm going to use Molten Blast in this example, because this is what I like to use, there's a snap target auto aim that has somehow been added into the game, and it either needs to go away, or you don't know it's happening. If I have a pack of mobs rushing me from the north, instinctively id like to fire off my Molten Blast to the north before they get into close range, but the game doesn't let me do this anymore like it used to in 1.0. now if I got anything around me, it will auto target and snap all my skills to that direction of the monster, while I got a pack of guys rushing me. This becomes so so increasingly annoying, because I can't freely shoot my Molten Blast in the direction that I'm pressing the joystick, instead it always wants to snap auto target, and just stay on that monster till it's dead. I am NOT using Focus Fire setting, so please don't reply with that. It is a major game/class/skill breaking bug and it needs to be rectified please. I recommend you take a Molten Blast skill, with a controller, and watch what happens when you try to fire it in your own intended directions. After a while ur gonna start screaming at your TV because a lot of the surrounded by mobs situations could be avoided with very smart fast paced thinking strategy, and the game doesn't let you do it that way anymore Please please fix this แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย bashkarthegreat#9171 เมื่อ 8 เม.ย. 2025 23:18:22 ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 10 เม.ย. 2025 17:11:49

In the Skill Binds, you can now select your preferred targeting mode (way on the left, there is an icon that is not part of the skill bar) and more finely customize it.

No, that does not fix anything. Do not reply to something you don't know about please.

I reply to what I want, thank you.
You can set skills to use 'melee mode' or 'ranged mode' targeting. You can customize how the targeting of that mode behaves. Plus you can use right stick to override target and switch to another one. If after trying the various options you still have issue, welll... then perhaps the issue is with you and not with the game/skill. |

At no point EVER EVER EVER should my character be auto locking on to anything. I don't need him to snap and be forced into a monsters direction at any point in my play through.
Push joystick in direction I want to shoot..... Push skill.... It goes in that direction.... NEVER NEVER NEVER should I Push the joystick in the direction I want to shoot... Push skill... And my character does a 180 forcefully because the "game" feels like that's my best option. I don't care what the game thinks, I don't care what's around me... Full player character control is what it should be. Stop making me lose control of my character, I'll handle the mobs in the order I want to handle them, not some dumb proximity smart targeting auto aim snap force me to do things that keep getting me killed.
