Blooming Fields Boss Black Crow won't pick up bell to progress the fight

Either dealing too much damage or heavy stunning at the wrong time stops the boss from ever picking up the bell. He went full immune at about 10% then there was nothing I could do. Relogging did not fix the issue.

Ultimately I did die and respawn. On the second attempt with more careful damage management I was able to progress and kill the boss.
