Trials bug

Did a trials for my 5th and 6th ascendancy point today. Breezed through the entire thing and got to the second boss ( twin statues) killed them pretty easily at first but as soon as one would go down it would just respawn. This happed 3 times for the fire twin and twice for the ice twin and needless to say I failed the trial due to honor loss. The fire twin would revive with an attack ready to go (ground fire slam) and it be impossible to dodge since he revived right in my face. I don’t think these bosses are meant to revive but if so why? No it didn’t take long, and the fight wasn’t a struggle so my character power is sufficient. I was doing great damage to them so the fight wasn’t drawn out it they just kept getting up with an aoe attack ready to go. Am I missing something about how this fight works? I never saw this bug last season.
