Wind Serpent Strike not always calculating skill speed

So I'm trying to play Wind Serpent Strike, and 80% of the times, after I cast it, it won't let me cast anything else for about 2 seconds.
I'm using Spearfield and Sniper's Mark as the main charge generators and none of those can be cast after using WSS.
Sometimes, it works just fine, but most times, it's like I get cursed with silence.

My guess is that even though it's casting faster due to attack and skill speed, somehow it's seen as still active and that's why it won't let me do anything else in that time.





Wanted to submit the bug ingame, the reference number is 3,363,241,746, although I don't know how much this will help.


Edit: It seems to occur more frequently at maximum power charges. When I have only 1 or 2, it doesn't do it as often.

Edit 2: Discovered the cause. It was because I was dodge rolling after every cast. If I don't use dodge roll, there's no issue. Using it results in a shorter animation, but instead of just canceling the animation, it also prevents you from using other skills.

Tried using blink instead. Same issue. This is so bad.

This is killing me, with deadeye doubling charges to get to 12, half the time the attack animation doesn't even play, I'm just teleporting around in a super long cast time
