Balbala's Barya & Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum stuck in my inventory permanently

I have completed both ascendancy trials and done all 4 of my ascendancies but I still have the items stuck in my inventory. I cannot stash them or sell them so they are permanently taking up 2 slots in my inventory and have been for about 80 hours worth of gameplay.

Go into any world area or a map and drop them on the ground.
