My character disappeared while I was playing with my son!

We were both playing on the same PC, both as hunters. The character my son was playing (BryanLuffy) disappeared! The game returned to the main menu and his character was no longer there. Can someone help me solve this problem, because I had several unique items. He had done the ascension and chosen ritualist. Wow, my son is 10 years old, he is dedicated to this game, we play a lot together. Now my son is crying because he lost his character. It happened today, 04/08/25 at 11 pm.

Today is April 21, 2005 and I have not received any response from this character who suddenly disappeared from my game.
