To be honest, I usually defend most design decisions and like the game in general. I even motivated myself to play this league although I never wanted to enter current trials again.
However I really wanted to give those new crafting tools a try and put some hope in it. I collected dozens of bases and fed the recombinator to an amount where even those 1-3÷ should be likely to hit. I hit my first fraction orb and got a helmet with 520 accuracy on day 2 of my mapping. From then I tried to hit high life, decent evasion and mid fireres. I don't know how many divines were burnt by now but I am 15÷ short of level 94 and still waiting for my FIRST item to hit.
For me PoE has been about crafting and I have no understanding why you still hold back alterations and/or something like harvest. I can imagine that you may think that this tools are too powerful but I don't see how there is a way to significantly improve gear in a lifespan of a season otherwise. Especially if you play the game and don't do a market simulation to be able to afford something.

You are confused. For crafting to be reworked it first needs to be introduced. So let's start with that step.

Alterations are just bad. Clicking a million times to get one mod of all pool is bad.
Harvest would be cool, probably will come something similar in the future.

I don't get this sentiment that to make money on trade you have to spend the majority of your play time "do(ing) a market simulation to be able to afford something."
if 99% of your play time is not killing monsters/clearing maps and stopping to trade 1-3 times an hour you are not going to keep ahead of the div inflation. . .stop selling crap 1ex stuff.
TL;DR skill issue, git gud on how to trade. . .

Jeez. I need 4-6 min to run a t15 with breach and delirium. I can get more currency than that not entering a map at all. If anything people complaining about that know how to use trade, some more efficient some less, they just don't feel it should be like that.
