Omen of Whittling bugged

Bricked my item due to Whittling, contacted support and forwarded me to post here so devs see it quicker. (Also saying they wont restore the item...)
Copy pasting my initial email to support below and attatching the picture. Hey, I used an Omen of Whittling and it removed the wrong stat, sort of ruining the great spear in the progress.. I'm submitting a picture of before and after, also the chat log showing that Omen of Whittling was used with time stamp if that is relevant. Before activating and using the chaos orb I made sure that the T2 Phys damage as life leech was highlighted in orange. Yet it rerolled the T3 Phys%. If this is intended it's a MAJOR bug that needs to be fixed, Whittlings are expensive and items like this is hard to come by.. I want you to revert this change and reimburse me with a whittling and Chaos Orb. Can't speak to "orange highlight" as I haven't used one of these omens. But it did not pull the wrong mod. Omen of Whittling pulls the lowest level mod. Universally in PoE crafting, this never means the lowest "mod tier." It means the lowest "item level required for said mod tier." Your T3 phys requires a level 23 item whereas the leech requires a level 38 item. So if there was an orange highlight (your picture doesn't show one), then the bug is that it highlighted the wrong mod for you.
You won't be getting anything reverted or reimbursed. That's just not how GGG ever operates. |

" I tried to shadowplay it but I did it too late. Me and my friend looked over it several times and made sure the right statline was highlighted in orange which it was. What you're saying makes sense but visually I got 'fooled' by the system. So clerarly a major bug that needs to be fixed ASAP |
