Issues with Waystones system

why do we even have this system vs just slamming the node with orbs/emotions? My first character is doing T15+ but my second character is at t9 and can't buy waystones from Doriyani. Why doesn't he stell waystones for all appropriate character levels? I haven't experienced it but there still is sustainability issues and if you run out of waystones your basically just farming act 3 and hoping for a drop so you can hopefully continue progressing (I'm not going to entertain the requirement of using the trade site to buy a lower tier waystones)

My opinion is that waystones in general are trash. And wasting time and resources to balance this system is an absolute waste of time. It's just more trinkets to pilfer through on the ground which is already at an all time high level of irritation.

I know they won't remove them but just wanted to say I think they suck and are useless wastes of development time and money.

I've got 900 hours in EA so far sand have taken like 5 characters to maps at level 90+ I'm not just saying this after first hitting maps and hating it either.
