The Game is broken, no quite reason to play this season.
In general, there haven't been that many changes in the gameplay this season. What disappoints is that the end game, campaign and leveling are still more interesting. The atlas itself is tragic and not interesting, but the changes are going in a better direction. On the other hand, the person or people responsible for the changes in the mechanics have, to put it mildly, fucked up. Couples of things:
Too many deaths from regular or unique mobs. Attacks from uncontrolled packs are equal death. Armor still doesn't work and should be the strongest if it takes away speed movement. Energy shield and evasion meh, all classes and their def are so weak even at max. res that they go to dps. Because they have no choice. Map's design still sucks, running around looking for rares, etc. It's clear that you have no idea what to do and to afraid to copy Diablo 3 that will solve this problem. Instead of beating mobs and gaining exp, I currently get frustrated and turn off the game when a random boss falls on my head or a white mob with a haste takes my hit pool on a maxed character. aRPGs are supposed to be fun and give a sense of purpose in changing builds, looking for drops, etc. For now, the season is unplayable for me. In EA I made 5 classes for the endgame, this season one and I'm done. GGG should have some humility because it doesn't look too good.
