Spell dissapearing from upgrading skill gems

As you can read from the title and see from the picture below after i upgraded this skill gem from lvl 17 to lvl 19 the spell from my spell bar dissapeared, i fulfill all requirements for the gem to be used ( level and attribute requirement) and not to mention if i did not it is scripted to not let me upgrade it ( big red warning can't upgrade gem due to support requirements).
Since that's not the case here i want to know why can't i use my skill gem .
I made another one lvl 17 and after a relog the same thing happened
( don't want to replace cause of quallity and upgrade with jewler)
