Evertree Map Device - Doesn't allow you to click on the circle to get count

Hi -

I specifically bought this because I thought the fact that it counted the number of maps I ran was a cool feature. I've watched a video online of someone on PC with this map device. They click the little circle in the middle of the tree and it shows them the total maps.

Why can't I do this on my Playstation 5?

Feels kind of shady you guys would advertise and sell it one way and when I buy it, it doesn't work.

Or am I doing something wrong?
Can we not click on the circle to get our map totals with a controller?

This kind of cost a lot of money.
