ultimatum 4th ascendancy

I placed the quest inscribed ultimatum into the socket at that time to not carry it with me and do it later. But I never did. However, I came back as I wanted to do my 4th ascendancy. The quest ultimatum was still there. I was not able to finish it because after completing quest ultimatum trial the quest item remained socketed. I put it out and in and what so ever nothing helped. I did the lvl 80 ultimatum trial a couple of times — also after the latest patch. I cannot get my last two points :/
