Mercenary single target damage is HORRIBLE

I literally do 1000dps single target playing playing fire build at LVL 75

Wtf am I doing wrong my aoe turret does more single target damage than me

Meanwhile on my screen clearing T17 with the 3k withered wand chaos bolt skill... xD

Split combat system into 5:

offense
defense
speed
utility
resource

You focus on one of these more than you have to, the rest suffer, build sucks. Try to change it a bit.

What can I do to make single target good? Rapid shot is complete trash

How would any of us know unless you post your build?

I can get my Merc to ~300k single target DPS pretty easily so how you're stuck at 1k is a tough nut to crack without more info.

Ignite & Ignite synergies with Oil Grenade worked really well for me for a long time -- the free Fire Exposure that Oil Grenade applies is really strong, and the slow will help keep you alive. Oil Grenades are nice too because they explode immediately if they hit an enemy.

Support Oil Grenade with Encumberance, Suffuse, Magnified Effect, and Scattershot and you will cover the entire screen in a deadly inferno.

For a long time Oil Grenade & Ignite were cornerstones -- they do tax your GPU though fair warning.

Yea bro ok. It's the only build that most people play. Can you suggest us something else? Of course not becouse most of Crossbow skills are trash. This specific build you play is a build that brought by Jonathan when abolished all the others that streamers brought.
