Endgame improvements
1. Allow combining Tier 15 maps into a Tier 16 maps. XP loss and grinding for XP to level up is already mind-numbingly slow doing 15s when at level 85-100. The ratio of bad or no outcomes for using Vaal orbs on a map is egregiously high compared to good outcomes. Why does every bit of this game have this negative bias?
2. Change up the randomization or seeding of in-map events. More Delirium, since these are needed for "juicing". Only experienced players know this and you (GGG) don't teach anyone about it. Less Rituals since it's probably causing the most deaths for little or no reward when a character is not capable of dealing with hordes in tight quarters. Currently, the seeding is leaning heavily toward Rituals and Expeditions. You (GGG) will LOSE even players like this you know. 3. Change up the seeding of map types. At the very least, make it 50/50 between open range maps and maps with tight corridors and spaces. Right now, it's leaning heavily toward the claustrophobic types, for obvious reasons; reasons that make players hate your design and intentions, GGG. The game is both enjoyable AND challenging on the open maps. You guys put made those well enough that players will still die in them like you want. At least they die happier going down fighting rather than getting tripped up by every little thing and getting killed by unseen effects and whatnot. 4. After applying these balances, reset everyone's uncompleted maps in the world. At the moment, I see about 10 Rituals for every 2 Delirium. Don't force players to reroll another character just to enjoy the rebalance. 5. Doryani should replenish his map stock after a certain period or amount of XP gain by a player or character. Again, why so stingy, GGG? Do you really want players to eventually lose map momentum on top of the XP loss no one in their right mind enjoys? 6. Any currency should be purchasable by in-game gold. Wreck the Economy for all we care. We being the vast majority who play your game. Based on PoE2 trading, more than 90% of the player base do not actively participate in the Economy and trading as it is. At most, you will only profit as much as you do in PoE1 and fail to profit from most of your players who will probably be happy to invest money in PoE2 with a more sensible system other than what exists in both versions of PoE. Think of something else to monetize while providing this convenience to players because the only ones enjoying these systems are the top 5%. 7. Find a way to give something to players in exchange for the XP loss. It doesn't have to be equivalent, but something meaningful. As it stands, PoE gives nothing but philosophical BS from diehards who think this loss "gives meaning". Off the top of my head, how about a quest or challenge like Sekhmas or the Temple of Chaos? Something more reasonable, of course, since these 2 challenges are $#!% atm. If a player clears the challenge, they get back all the XP they've lost. "The Oracle of Lost Memories" or something like that. Put XP loss in it, I don't care, just as long as a character gets all of it back if they beat the challenge. In general, please be generous GGG. You lose nothing by leaning more toward player reward and good UX instead of losing even more player goodwill by always leaning toward player punishment and "friction". ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 20 พ.ค. 2025 06:50:41

" For almost 13 years they have heard the same things you're saying. Nothing you said is new, but their answer will be the same until the sun dies. "No" They actually in their original interviews described POE 2 as a gut punch -- they don't want you happy, they want you in pain. They say so verbatim. Their concern is punishment, NOT reward. In their last ever POE 1 league they didn't even have positive outcomes for their mechanic -- literally only bad things/events were possible. GGG is a negative company. They think reward the player is what went wrong with POE 1. |
