Can't use Herald of blood with Bleed concoction

This is a weird restriction. Bleed concoction requires you to be unarmed, but then you can't use Herald of blood (which is intended for bleed builds) because it requires a martial weapon. Holding a shield in my off-hand doesn't count either. Not sure if intended or not.
