Why force Ruthless???

Every ARPG game i ever played in my life with different game modes, Softcore(Normal) have been what majority of players chose to play.

Hardcore, Ruthless, Solo Self Found, or whatever to call other types of more challenging game modes. No matter game, Softcore are what overwhelming majority of players always chose to play.


They tried something in between hardcore and softcore in PoE1 and called it Ruthless, but only a very small minority of players enjoyed it.


And they decide to make Ruthless forced into the base game of PoE2??? Why???? No one in their right mind can think that is a good idea!



No wonder the game have got so much criticism and so many players have left the game!


Keep this slogfest with punishing players for everything if you want, but call it what it is, Ruthless game mode. And implement the Softcore mode so players can chose themselves, the very small minority of machoist "i am so pro elite" can stick to themselves in their small little "The Vision!!!""" Ruthless bubble.

Then play POE 1.

While I disagree this is like ruthless, I think it's a great idea. 3.26 will be out for you soon don't worry.

Ah yes, ruthless. Where you can instantly choose from and use literally any skill gem and support gem in the entire game. Oh, wait.

It is really weird that PoE 2 is just Ruthless 2.0 and they make everyone play it as the base game.


Like they should just make a Ruthless mode for the game, do whatever they want with it then actually start designing a fun arpg for the 99% of other players to enjoy in the base game.
