Unplayable after latest nvidia driverss

After latest Nvidia driver, POE 2 is unplayable.

the cpu/gpu frames drop and the game stutter every 1-2 seconds.

Here's an example in the hideout:





In maps, it's impossible to play since FPS goes to 15-20 at most and CPU usage goes to the roof.

This only happens in POE2, poe 1 is fine, other games are fine too without issues)

- ALL my settings are set to LOW
- I tried vulkan and DX12
- everything's off (vsync, upscale, dynamic resolution, hdr, nvidia reflex, dynamic culling, etc...)
- I also have nvidia optimize the game for performance

What am I missing?

Delete shader cache

Same issue. Stutters every couple seconds.

I don't have this problem on RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Gaming OC, but maaan... On some maps like Fortress or Forge, the FPS drop is so bad that there are even interruptions to sound. If there are some density affixes and especially on ritual, it can be really bad...

I am having issues today as well. I turned everything down and it's still spiking.

Im having same issue. Have a mobile 4070, never problems b4 but now stutters after 20 mins

Just join a empty channel and the spikes go away

Or type /clear (chat) every now and then.

- Deleted shader cache (dx12 and vulkan) - same issues

I haven't tried the chat "trick" let me try that now

So far so good, clearing the chat does not lag the game as bad now.

Will keep playing :crossfingers:
