Item gone after trade

I just traded 3 chaos orbs for a Sinister Quarterstaff with pretty decent stats.
The problem is: The trade succeeded, my chaos orbs got transferred but the Quarterstaff is gone. It's neither in my inventory nor in any of my stash tabs. And yes, besides of scrolls of wisdom, my inventory was empty at the time of the trade.

Luckily it wasn't a few divines but it's still pretty frustrating.

Any bugs known related to this problem?
