Really enjoying 0.2+
I was very sour after 0.1 felt rushed and sloppy. 0.2 is not perfect of course and I know there is a lot to go between campaign content and balance work but it is a night and day difference.
Loot drops feel good for me. You fixed the insane chaos volatile plants that killed all of us. We can set our maps to have different respawn amounts to suit our own risk/rewards. We have some crafting options, limited but they exist. Lots of QoL tweaks in maps plus checkpoints have been getting a bit better. The map layouts are still a bit convoluted at times but at least checkpoints help. Passives and their general options are a bit limited but PoE had that issue. Most ARPG do. You can always pick a passive because it is fun to use but if you want the best of the best peak player, then you are going to have to make a better synergy. It is still really early and I am sure GGG will work on some interesting builds. The main point is I am having a lot of fun and do not feel like I am being kicked in the face every time I try to play. Maybe it is just because 0.1 was brutal at times but the game has a much better pace. I don't freak out if I die since I get to set the risk/reward so there is nobody to blame but me.
