Rite of Passage Golden Charm Spirit of the Boar

Hello. I've been testing this charm, and it doesn't appear that the boars that are periodically summoned do anything at all. I've tested this on a T1 map, by killing a rare, and then having a mob swarm me. I can't even tell if boars are actually summoned, as it just appears that purple blobs disperse from my character and fizzle out on the ground.

I faced a Boar possessed rare, and boars did in fact spawn and explode for the enemy, which is not at all what happens with the charm. Unless my specific instance of the charm is broken, this is confirmed to be a bug.
