A lot more server latency lag and spikes recently

Did poe2 get the shaft for server priority due to decline in player population?
Recently, I have been experiencing a lot more lag and spikes especially in maps. Even portal spawn from device has a delay, sometimes failing to summon portal. I'm from Asia.
