Shield Charge/ Charge bug

Why shield charge/ charge hit multiple times in a singular use of attack?

Is it an attack? Projectile? Spell? DoT? Ground effect? Is it possible to avoid it somehow? It either hit me while channeling(running whatever) or with the AoE at the end with a 100% to hit.

Why my 85% evasion build died 4 times in a row from an shield charge skill from an rogue exile in delve?

Why do i have to lose 80% of XP to an Rare Bone Charger with Haste aura, soul eater, vine skibidi bullshit?

And i know that there is an augument on rares thet make "hits cant be evaded" but not every rare charger that i've died too had it and i have this issue with every charger that i've died to.
