Anyone else have some opinions on poe 1 seasons taking priority for 2 months out of a league?

I don't understand this move. Make Poe 1 its own thing. Poe 2 seasons should not be 4 months long. Economy is dead making the grind even worse. When you do actually find anything of decent value you can't sell it unless its 6x tier 1 item. This is pain staking to try to have fun with at the moment.

It's definitely an odd scenario. This is the first time in my decades of gaming that I've seen devs create a successor, from Game 1 to Game 2, but then dedicate resources and manpower to continue developing Game 1 while Game 2 remains stagnant.
I'm not saying it's the right or wrong thing to do, it's definitely unusual though. |

i have no intention of playing poe1 so it is disappointing to know that resources that could be improving poe2 are being spent on some other game i have no interest in. but maybe hopefully they have some crossover like things they learn from their work on poe1 can transfer to better design decisions in poe2. just hoping.

To summarize, they failed in the second game. They don't have the courage to back down; Poe1 is already a system that works perfectly. They introduced the Poe1 league as a hush money to its real audience until Poe2 is fixed. As long as Poe1 has regular leagues, the Poe1 audience will never switch to Poe2. You should be happy about this, because it prevents the clash between two different game-style audiences.

For me, its clearly because GGG has not enough people in their staff to maintain both games together.
