Weapon Swapping
Hello,
I kind of like the idea of having a main and a secondary weapon set. This way I can combine different skills from different weapon sets to create unique builds, at least I guess that is the idea. But I think this system is still lacking polish, because often times it seems easier or more useful to just use one weapon instead of two different ones. There are incentives to using two different weapon sets and all in all I think it's smarter to do so, for example my huntress is using weapon set points in spear and two-handed mace, while the two-handed mace is used primarily for killing rares through hammer of the gods and has points in the skill tree that accord to this. Spear is for clearing waves of mobs mainly. When I roll a new character, I like to take a new weapon I find, no matter what it is, if it is better (maybe much better) than the ones I'm using right now and I change my build accordingly, like using skill gems to get skills for the new weapon, shuffling around support gems, etc. I think this is a really good way to incentivize players to use all the games systems properly. But I am not sure many people really act this way. Anyway, I think that switching weapons, or finding new weapons to use and acting like I just described loses its importance the further you progress through the campaign and towards late endgame, because you specced into specific points in the skill tree that accord to specific weapons already and so you're not very flexible in that regard anymore, which I really think is a shame. But then again, you can kind of hold back onto speccing into weapon-specific perks in the skill tree until later or just respecc when you find a new weapon, although that might be a bit costly and tedious. All in all I think the system attempts good things, but lacks relevance throughout the whole game. In kind regards ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 22 ก.ค. 2025 07:56:34
