Trial of Sekhemas

I completed the 2nd trial of Sekhemas, did not receive any ascendancy points after clicking the altar.

I have no luck in finding these coins that easy so this is a major setback.

Would love some help and/or feedback from a dev/gm.


-clicking the altar opened the passive skills menu, did not give extra points.
-tried rebooting the game.
-contacted support, they directed me to here.

Did you beat the scorpion and no points?
What level was the barya?

I defeated the 1st and 2nd boss. fire golem and the twins.

I'm not sure how you did it but normaly you get first ascension in act2 with 2 points, second ascension in act3 in trial of chaos for 2 points, than the third one that would give you more points in trial of sekhemas specificly should require you to do 3 complete floors (scorpion boss)

I'm not sure if you're trying to get the second one because you didnt do the trial of chaos? Than it's different of course, i never done that i always did sekhemas and chaos during campaign.

Third ascenssion not being available before maps cause you need a token level 65.

Sekhema 2 floors shouldnt grant 2nd ascendancy unless you completely ignored trial of chaos and got a level 45+ barya on cruel.

Lowest coin i have with 2 floors is 56(honestly i dont remember if it even grants points), what level are you trying to get 2nd ascendancy?
Make sure you play trial of chaos with 4 arenas and see if you get points there.
If you did already and died at boss keep in mind that the coin for the first trial of chaos doesnt get lost when you die, it's enough to approach the altar, close and reopen the trial.

Aha, I think I understand now.


I was under the impression that the 2 floor trial of sekhemas would also give an ascendency, specially since the altar was click-able and lit up.

I have 4 points in the ascendency now, if I understand you correct i must get the 5-6 from 3 floor trial of sekhemas and 7-8 from maps at lvl 65+ ?

5-6 points = sekhemas 3 floors (beat scorpion) level 65+

7-8 points = sekhemas 4 floors (beat Zarokh) level 75+ or trial of chaos (beat Trialmaster) level 75+.
