EU Servers are back to being unplayable

Hey fellow exiles and GGG, this is not a rant. Just letting you know that I can`t engage with the product. I usually log to Frankfurt.
I have been playing PoE2 since beta start and love the game. During DotH I had to drop off several times, simply because connectivity and performance inhibited me from play. Issues clearly don`t arise on my end of things. From the ongoing and active engagement with the community I learned that GGG does their best to get ontop of things. All is very much appreciated. Please fix this. I gave you a considerable amount of money. So did others, I hear. There is no better feature for this game than mere playability.

What I encounter:
Unresponsive moments of play at the very start of a session. Those quickly turn into massive stutters, screen freeze and delay. Minutes after starting the game I can`t play as I face about 3 to 5 seconds of delay progressively. More even at times. Obviously this makes several parts of the game inacccessible.

I have been reporting on this. Again, Please fix or advise how to find a performant connection. Thank you. GLHF!

I’m about to make my own post on POE2’s performance because it’s nearly unplayable.

Even after days of tweaking—everything on low, forcing optimal CPU core usage, and countless other changes—FPS still swings from 100 to 15.
This isn’t a hardware issue: my rig (3090, 64 GB RAM, i9) runs POE1 near max settings, even deep Delve, and other demanding games without a hitch.

POE2 ran flawlessly at launch on this exact setup, so what mostly server issue and poor game optimization in the patches?

What the hell is going on with the EU servers? It’s a complete disaster. Constant crashes, lag spikes every few seconds – up, down, up, down – it’s literally unplayable.

And instead of fixing the core gameplay experience, we keep getting spammed every couple of minutes with notifications about Stash Tabs being on sale. I already own the Stash Tabs I want, thanks. How about fixing the actual game before pushing more sales messages?

I love this game. I’ve already spent around €500 on it because I want to support it, and I don’t regret that – but I refuse to keep spending money when the servers are in this state. These problems have been known for a long time and nothing seems to get addressed.

The lag spikes never stop. They’re there 24/7, Monday to Sunday. You move a few meters in Act 3 and immediately get hit with a spike – up, down, up, down. The same happens in maps. On top of that: constant disconnects, constant crashes. Even simple things like teleporting cause everything to freeze or collapse. This is not acceptable.

If Path of Exile 2 is supposed to launch in December like this, the entire magic will be gone before it even starts. People will quit. They will think twice before dropping €60 on skins if the servers can’t even handle basic gameplay.

Something needs to happen NOW. And honestly, I don’t see anyone from GGG responding here in the forums. That has to change. Silence doesn’t solve anything – FIX the EU servers and start communicating with your community.
