Are you playing 0.3?

For me it's dependent on the amount of changes and seeing which direction they may have decided on. Same balance and sense of ruthless direction or changing to something more fun?

I want to see the changes in action before diving in, so I guess I'm going to wait a few days after launch. Normally the patch notes would be enough to determine playing or not, but notes don't seem to be accurate lately so can't rely on them now.

With all its flaws POE-2 is the best ARPG today, so I'll definitely play.

I'll continue playing Standard. I don't subscribe to leagues. They are FOMO nonsense.

Probably, but if the endgame doesn't change dramatically I'll not stick around. Playing PoE the last 2 months showed me what good endgame has to look like for me personally.

I'm hoping for more ruthless direction, and something fun in terms of league mechanics. Pretty sure anyone still lurking here will play 0.3 lol

I wouldn't say PoE2 is the best Arpg by any measure. I have around 1k hours in PoE2 and its obviously an EA game. It has the potential to be good, but there are 2-3 that are a bit better right now as a complete game imo.

I mean league resets have to do with a fresh start and there really isn't fomo about it. Maybe you could say that if you play trade and are limited on time, but especially playing solo there is no FOMO involved. Hope you enjoy standard though. I know it doesn't have many players, so it's nice to see a couple people are enjoying it.

Makes sense. The endgame of PoE is completely fleshed out and a much better experience. It's def the best arpg right now. I'm with you in hoping PoE2's endgame changes a lot, as good endgame is so important.
