Why does a map's loading screen end BEFORE rendering all objects?

I don't care if the loading time takes longer. That is actually preferable to entering a map and being attacked by invisible entities.

Then that's a bug, there's a mechanic that monsters won't attack unless you move when first entering. The check point doesn't activate until you move to see an indication of when agro activates on monsters or else running Steppe would be hell while progressing.
I'm aware of the temporary invulnerability that comes with entering an instance. My question is why does the game permit character movement at all before it finishes rendering assets?

The issue is you can't tell if the game hasn't finished loading until after walking around and unrendered monsters start attacking.

You can move before your load screen ends.
I tested it in a party. My friend with slow pc was sharing his screen and was using WSAD to move when still on loading screen.
I loaded first and I saw him moving around, when he saw a loading screen.

Sounds like a slow PC, otherwise this shouldn't happens. Hopefuly you are not playing your games on a mecanical hard drive in 2025.

Your post dodges the question with irrelevancies. The specs of the rig and how long it takes to render isn't the issue being discussed (its a SS regardless).

Why the game permits action prior to fully loading is the topic. If the loading screen fades and your character is on-screen, that's supposed to be the Green Light. If the assets aren't yet ready, then why not simply keep the game on the loading screen until they are?

This issue is very annoying. What I do to check if everything has finished rendering is right after I have loaded into a map I toggle the graphs with F1 and wait with running the map until the render bar has calmed down.
Because of bad program code. Am i... answered your question?
