Incessant Cacophony: Curses applied via Blasphemy do not have infinite Duration

As the title says, Curses applied via Blasphemy do not have infinite Duration while having the "Incessant Cacophony" Lich ascendancy node allocated. When I walk away far enough and the curse is removed. When I walk closer, it gets applied immediately once again. I tested with Temp Chains and Despair.

I have the same issue.
Using weapon swap I was planning on using Blasphemy with Incessant Cacophony to double curse "infinitely", then swapping to my Infernal Legion Spectres. Obviously GGG has a different idea as to what infinite is :'(
Even without weapon swapping, once out of distance of the Blasphemy Aura the curse wears off, so I'm not losing the curses due to swapping out of the weapon that 'caused' the curses...
