Ascension Trails are still a sore spot
I left this feedback in 0.1 and again in 0.2, but it is still true in 0.3. The third and fourth trials of ascension are just needlessly frustrating designs for their points in the progression and power scaling of characters.
The birdman boss in Trial of Chaos is still just a hundred times more difficult than the rest of that trial. His abilities need better telegraphs especially the projectile lightning he likes to throw out immediately after he finishes chasing you in the tornado, and the hazards he puts out in his dark storm phase sub 50% are still incredibly hard to discern where is an isn't safe ground. The rest of the trial seems pretty reasonable but this guy is head and shoulders harder than the rest of the trial and much much harder than the trialmaster. The difficulty difference between getting this boss first, when you have 4 tribulations, and last when you have 10 tribulations is way too large. He needs significant nerfs to be appropriate. Trail of the Sekhemas doesn't have overall difficulty problems and is mostly a decent learning curve but it just takes far too long once you get into 3+ trial runs. Also the assumption that you need to farm non-ascension trial runs to build up your idol collection to be ready for the later ascensions feels really bad. Every league, every character, I get to the point of doing my third ascension and I wonder why I still play this game. Agreed. Ascending feels terrible and the effort for the points you get doesn't even feel worth it a lot of times. The idea of rerolling a new character and running trials again makes me log out. The design for these trials is truly awful.

I'd like to see trial of chaos getting some rolls that are actually a benefit to you. Kinda how you can get boons in sekhemas.
