Bug - The Search - Confront Kanu and the First Herald

Got killed as my Chaos DoT was finishing the First Herald. Clicked 'respawn' and he started the voiceline about "run my lady" and then poof. All NPC's are gone and Kanu is dead by the door. Door is sealed and quest still says Confront Kanu and the First Harold. The boss icon is grey'd out. Cannot progress. Please advice.

Attempts -

Have relogged. no change.
Have respawned at checkpoint. no change.

Same I'm also stuck. I died at the same time I killed the boss except my minions killed him. Respawning at last checkpoint brings him back and he says that line and flies off somewhere. Kanu is dead at the door, I cant click him and it says Confront Kanu and the First Harold.

Solution - Eff'd off and did some trials and such (+/- 25mins). Teleported to the Waypoint at the start of the zone. It was fully reset. Clear to boss. Kill boss (without dying at the end myself) and win. Door opens and happy success times. Wish yall the best.

Me too! I died as my ignite killed him and he did the voiceline. I guess I will wait until instance resets like the other bloke.
