Game Freezing and possibly crashing.

My game application freezes every 5 maps or so, like the entire game, not the server. it resumes after 10-15 secs and when that happens my entire overlay map is reset.

I have been told to switch to vulkan(I use DX12) and when i do that i get an arror code every 5 maps or so. error code:"vk::Device::waitForFences: ErrorDeviceLost"

I do not have this issue with PoE 1 or any other game, and this has only started happening after the 0.3 patch. It also never happened during the campaign and only affects maps. It tends to occur when the game has a lot of entities around me, like in a fairly high pack size map. or when opening a breach. but it doesnt ONLY happen during these moments, just more regularly.

If there is any help or tips, id very much like to know as it is getting unplayable at this point.

I have reinstalled the game, cleared caches, reinstalled drivers, downgraded drivers, rebooted PC, switched servers, and tried a different character. nothing has fixed it.

Same here crashes/freezes every 1 or 2 maps. I have also tried all those fixes you mentioned except reinstalling the game. Nothing is working. Never happened before 0.3 I agree this is not a network issue. I am used to lots of server lag always because my wi-fi is not great. But the stuttering feeling of lag feels completely different to the freeze crash issue which is causing the application to fail randomly.
