Cant Leave Abyss Boss Fight..... Literally cant play the game

Who TF thought of this. Literally cant leave the arena. Boss is sucking my soul dry, kills me when he already dead. I cant TP out of the area at all. I literally CANT PLAY THE GAME. Logging out does nothing, checkpoint does nothing. How was this an oversight??

I just did the same thing. Killed the boss, loot dropped then something killed me. Loot dissappeared as did the boss. Stuck in room can't tp out cuz it says "can't open portal during boss fight" even tho he's dead. Tried everything and I am stuck.

Hi all
Happened to me today, during the mermaid boss fight in maps, she disappeared mid fight and never came back, leaving me stuck in the arena.

Couldn't portal out, logging out didn't work, i was still reappearing in the locked arena without any way of getting out.

Here's the solution :

Go back to character selection screen, and beside your character's box, there's a home shaped icon that allows you to log back at the last town/hideout instead of where you left the game.
