Latency Constantly Spiking

I am having constant latency spikes. I'm typically sitting around 38ms but it is always shooting up super high for some reason which makes the game constantly stutter, and sometimes the latency will shoot so high my game freezes entirely. I am usually sitting around a solid 23ms in other games. I have tried updating to the latest drivers. Lowering my settings doesn't do anything. I tried turning off steam overlay. I changed the renderer. Nothing works. Only thing I haven't tried is setting up an ethernet. which would be difficult in my situation, and I'd rather avoid that, and considering I don't lag in other games it shouldn't even be the issue.

I have a 5070, 9800x3d, nvme ssd, ddr5, running on windows 10.

I would like to know if others are having similar problems and if there is a potential fix.

I’m experiencing the same thing. My ping is normally around 50ms but it keeps spiking really high causing stutters/freezes, even though my internet is stable and other games run fine.

I’ve already tried updating drivers, changing renderer, disabling Steam overlay, making sound on low , DX12 , reduce quality to 77% but nothing seems to help.

Just wanted to confirm I’m not the only one — hopefully GGG can look into this since it seems game-specific.
I'm experiencing the same thing. I've been monitoring performance because I was experiencing 15-20s freeze-ups, and was thinking it was my hardware.

I'm noticing everything in line except for the network latency jumping to 5000-6000ms during these events.
I have the same problem, and there are a lot of complaints about it on Reddit and the Steam discussion.
